Who has encountered Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, and Atheist, Jewish, and Catholics to name a few, and spoken to them about their spiritual life. After all this I still had this burning question in my heart, “Why are people so turned of by the thought of Christianity?” Our main purpose as Christians is to spread the Word of God, why is that so hard? Why do people look at us like we are either crazy or idiots for believing in something we can neither see nor hear? Some Christians choose the “invite” method, where they invite non-Christians over for a meal then ambush them with questions about their spiritual life. The invitee ends up leaving thinking about how much they “used to” like them. Or maybe you have the “I’m holier than you approach,” that’s a real crowd pleaser. You know the person who walks around evaluating everyone else’s life pretending to have answers for everyone else’s spiritual woes. In return they leave everyone feeling insufficient and lacking in spiritual maturity. This approach tends to repulse other Christians, how do you think non-believers feel? The question continues to be posed as for how do we deal with the issue of ministering to others, even other Christians.

One's and Two's

I believe that there are two types of people in the world, One type is the person who knows 100% what they want to do when the pick a career, the go to school (most of them for a long time) and then they do it until they die. The second type of person, like me, that spend there entire life figuring out what they were placed here to do, and it is not until they're about to die when they realize that's it! They were placed here so that one-day they could die. I am not really sure what the turn-around is for the 2's to become the 1's, but I hope they can. The anxiety and worry of not finding a career or even a job is too overwhelming. Surrounded by successful friends who have gone to law school and medical school, even if they do not want to indulge in those professions at least they could if there was nothing else.
